School Band Trips, Choir Tours & Music Performance Travel
Give your musicians the performance of a lifetime on a custom music educational tour built around your ensemble.
52+ years of custom educational travel · Trusted by school groups in all 50 states · SYTA, IATAN, ARC, and NTA accredited
Take your musicians from the rehearsal room to center stage with performance tours designed around exactly what your group plays and sings. We build school performing arts tours, and we build tours for independent ensembles too, community choirs, church choirs, youth orchestras, and marching units with no school attached. School choir tours to an adjudicated festival, a parade, a concert on a world class stage. We do not hand you a finished package.
Your repertoire, your dates, and your ensemble are the starting point, down to the final note.

5
Support on the trip
Your planner and a 24/7 emergency line are with your group the entire trip.
Sample Music Performance Tour Itinerary
Here is how a three day Nashville performance tour can come to life. Yours would be built from scratch.
Day 1
Arrival and a soundcheck at your evening venue, followed by a showcase performance and a group dinner on Lower Broadway.
Day 2
A morning clinic with a working Nashville session musician, then a recording session at a professional studio. Afternoon free for the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Day 3
Your adjudicated festival performance on a concert hall stage, then departure.
Day 4 – Epic Universe
Spend the day at Universal’s newest park, moving through its five worlds from Super Nintendo World to How to Train Your Dragon, with some of the most talked-about rides in Orlando.
Day 5 – Volcano Bay
Close the trip with a day at Universal’s water park, from the wave pool and lazy river to the slides, for a more relaxed last day together before heading home.
What Students Do on a Music Performance Tour
- Your musicians step out of the rehearsal room and perform for real audiences in venues they will never forget.
- Take center stage. Perform at adjudicated festivals, celebrated parades, concert halls, and competitions.
- Learn from the best. Work with guest conductors, clinicians, and session musicians who push your ensemble's sound further.
- Grow as performers. Receive expert feedback and build the chemistry that only comes from performing together on the road.
- Bring the program to life. Every performance connects back to the repertoire you teach, so the tour sharpens your program instead of interrupting it.
Why Music Directors Choose ET Tours
The Difference a Custom Music Tour Makes
The alternative is familiar, but a tour built around your program makes your music the reason for every stop.
Most companies hand you a numbered package and ask your ensemble to fit it. We work the other way around. Your tour follows your goals, not a template someone else wrote.
Taking your marching band to a parade this fall? Your tour centers on the route, the clinic, and the dates your calendar allows. Touring a chamber choir? Cathedrals, festivals, and adjudicated performances instead. The tour serves the program you are actually rehearsing.
The planner who quotes your tour stays with you through it. The same person who designs your proposal makes your revisions and supports your ensemble on the road. One point of contact, from first idea to final encore. Transparent custom pricing, no upsells, no surprises. You see what every part of your tour costs and why, with no package tiers and no add ons later. The quote you approve is the tour you take. Payment plans and fundraising support are built in, so cost never has to be the reason a student stays home.
How a Trip Comes Together
Three ways a custom trip could take shape. Yours would start the same way, with what you teach.
High school concert band · Nashville · 3 days
Picture a band six weeks from state festival. We would build the tour as a dress rehearsal with stakes, an adjudicated performance plus a clinic with a working session musician, so the director comes home with expert notes to shape the final month of rehearsal.
Community youth choir · New York City · 4 days
Imagine an independent choir that has outgrown its rehearsal hall. We would put them on a legendary stage, add a workshop with a guest conductor who pushes their blend and phrasing, and close with a Broadway show that reminds them why they sing.
Jazz ensemble · New Orleans · 3 days
Take a jazz band studying the roots of the music they play. We would pair a clinic with working New Orleans musicians, an evening performance slot, and a walk through the neighborhoods where the tradition was born. The set list becomes a story they can tell.
School Band & Choir Trip FAQs
How much does a school band trip cost?
Price depends on destination, tour length, group size, and inclusions, so we quote each tour individually. We build to your budget, and payment plans and fundraising support bring the per student cost down.
Do you work with middle school bands?
The best value pairs real performance opportunities with real customization, hands on clinics instead of walkthrough visits, transparent pricing, strong safety accreditation, and a single planner from quote to final encore. That holds whether you are comparing affordable choir performance tour providers for middle school students or planning a full marching band tour.
How far in advance should we start planning?
Six to nine months is ideal for festival slots, venue availability, and pricing, but strong tours come together on shorter timelines too.
Do you only work with schools?
No. We plan tours for community choirs, church choirs, youth orchestras, and independent bands and marching units, alongside our school groups. The process and the support are the same.
Can the tour match the repertoire we are performing this year?
Yes. That is the whole point. Tell us your program and performance goals and the itinerary is shaped around them, not the reverse.
How are students supervised?
Named tour managers travel with the ensemble, chaperone ratios are planned into the itinerary before booking, and every stop is scheduled in advance.
How do parents stay informed?
We communicate with you directly from enrollment onward. You will have the full itinerary, packing guidance, the payment schedule, and the 24/7 emergency line before the ensemble departs.
Safety & Support for Parents
Parents and families, this section is for you. Your performer travels with named tour managers, vetted transportation, and vetted accommodations. A 24/7 emergency line reaches our team at any hour of the tour. From enrollment onward we communicate with you directly, so you always know the schedule and who to call. We are accredited by SYTA, IATAN, ARC, and NTA. Full details, insurance information, and our incident protocol are on our Safety page.
