Senior Class Trips & End-of-Year Class Trips for School Groups
Senior class trips have never been easier, It starts with the group, the occasion, and the time of year, then builds a trip that fits, from the theme parks in Orlando to a few days in New York City or the coast of Southern California.
52+ years of custom educational travel · Trusted by school groups in all 50 states · SYTA, IATAN, ARC, and NTA accredited
A class trip marks the end of something the whole group shared, an eighth grade class finishing middle school, a senior class closing out high school, a grade that wants a few days away before the year ends.Â
A class trip carries more weight than most. It’s the trip students remember, so it has to work for everyone, not just the ones who have traveled before. It needs to be fun without becoming a free-for-all, safe enough for parents to sign off on, and priced so every family can take part. What makes it harder than a normal trip is that everyone comes, which means every ability, every budget, and every parent’s comfort level, all inside the same few days.Â

What Students Take Away From a Class Trip
For a lot of students this is the first trip they take without their families. They navigate a place on their own, keep track of their own time and money, and figure things out as a group. They come back more independent than they left. The parks and the shows are what they sign up for, but what stays with them is the few days spent with the whole class as a group.
Why Schools Choose ET Tours for Class Trips
No two of our trips look quite the same, because we start with you. Tell us what you’re hoping your group takes away from it, and we’ll shape the trip around that, right down to the dates that work for your calendar.
The planner who quotes your trip stays with you through it. The same person who designs your proposal makes your revisions and can travel with your group on the road. You get one point of contact who knows your trip because they built it with you.
For families, that means a trip run by people who have done this for decades. We’ve been planning group travel for over 50 years, we’re accredited by Students & Youth Travel Association, International Airlines Travel Agent Network, Airlines Reporting Corporation, and National Tutoring Association, and every detail from transportation to accommodations is vetted before your group ever leaves. Our custom pricing is transparent, with no upsells and no surprises, and payment plans are available so cost never has to be the reason anyone stays home for an end-of-year class trip.
The Difference a Custom Class Trip Makes
With a packaged tour, you get a fixed schedule and it’s on you to make your group fit it. We’d rather do it the other way around, building the trip around your group and what they want out of it, so every day feels
like it belongs there.
I went on my first Educational Tours trip in 1996 and again in 1999 as a high school student. Because of the core memory I wanted to give this opportunity to the next generation. This last year I started up the history tour back in the local towns high school and contacted Todd and his team. And you can see they have many years of experience and connections. They were so easy to work with and the communication was amazing. They did so much work and made this trip a success. We are looking forward to doing it again!

Last weekend we took our choir to Tuacahn with Educational Tours and had the best experience! They took care of everything – payments, tickets, dinners, workshops, hotels — all for such a reasonable price. Our group had a flawless trip. We would definitely do it again!

Senior Class Trip FAQs
How far in advance should we start planning?
The earlier the better. Spring is the busy season for class trips, and hotels and park tickets for large groups book up well ahead, so we recommend reaching out roughly a year out when you can. We’ll still do everything possible on a shorter timeline.
How much does a custom class trip cost?
It depends on your destination, length, and group size, which is why we build a transparent quote for your specific trip rather than list a package price. You’ll see what every part of the trip costs, with no hidden add-ons. Payment plans are available to help spread the cost across the year.
Is there a minimum group size?
It varies with the trip and destination rather than a fixed number. Tell us how many students you expect to travel, and we’ll build a trip that works for your group and let you know the best options for its size.
Who this is for?
Really any student, ages 6 and up. Call us today for any questions about age limits or what we can do!
How are chaperones handled?
Your group travels with named tour managers alongside your school’s own chaperones. We plan around the supervision ratio your school requires, usually about one chaperone for every ten students, and we help you organize how the group is divided so everyone is covered throughout the trip.
How are students supervised at night?
Chaperones stay on the same floor as students, room checks happen at a set time each night, and quiet hours are enforced. A 24/7 emergency line reaches our team at any hour if anything comes up.
What's included in the price?
Your quote lays out exactly what’s covered, typically transportation, accommodations, park and attraction admissions, and many meals. Because every trip is custom, we make the full inclusions clear before you commit, so students only need spending money for souvenirs and extras.
Can I travel with my student as a chaperone?
In most cases, yes. Whether the trip includes parents is up to your group leader, so check with them first, and we’ll help arrange your registration and room once you’re confirmed.
Safety & Support for Parents
Parents, this section is for you. Your student travels with named tour managers, vetted transportation, and vetted accommodations. A 24/7 emergency line reaches our team at any hour of the trip. From enrollment onward we communicate with you directly, so you always know the schedule and who to call. We are accredited by SYTA, IATAN, ARC, and NTA. Full details, insurance information, and our incident protocol are on our Safety page.
